How long does Optus Prepaid credit last for?
We’re introducing a new long expiry plan called the Optus Prepaid Long Expiry. The plan features the same long expiry credit that we know you’ll love with new $70, $80 and $100 recharge options – all with 365 days expiry.
Does Optus Prepaid credit rollover?
MyCredit Rollover: Unused MyCredit will roll over to the next recharge up to $500 if you recharge before your credit expires. You will lose all your MyCredit if you don’t recharge before credit expiry. If you recharge over $500 you will forfeit any MyCredit over that limit.
How do I extend my Optus plan?
My Optus app
- Open My Optus app.
- Tap Billing.
- Tap Request extension.
- If you’re eligible for an automatic extension the new due date will be displayed. Tap OK to agree to the new extension date.
- You’ll receive a confirmation of the extension via email or SMS.
Does Optus prepaid expire?
” To keep your service active, you need to recharge 186 days from your credit expiry, otherwise you may require a new SIM card to use the service and you may not be able to continue using your mobile number. ” If the SIM isn’t activated before the expiry date, you’ll need to purchase a new SIM card.
Do prepaid phone numbers expire?
Prepaid SIM cards don’t expire, but their credit does. When you activate a prepaid subscriber identity module, or “SIM,” card for a phone, the call, text and Internet credit you purchase expires after a certain period of time, as specified by the mobile carrier.
How long does prepaid credit last?
Any credit added to your account has an expiry period of 365 days. If you recharge additional credit within this period, it will extend the expiry period for credit on the account at the time of the recharge for a fresh 365 days. Prepaid credit can be used to add any mobile or data-only plan.
What happens if I recharge after expiry date?
Yes, your balance will get carried forward. You will continue to enjoy all the benefits like before.
Does prepaid expire?
Yes, they do. You will need to be reissued a card after it expires. Funds on the cards don’t expire, though.
