Is the BeatBuddy worth it?
Nothing equals the feel of working with a live drummer and in the absence of the real thing, the BeatBuddy is as close as you are going to get. It is definitely worth getting the full blown BeatBuddy if you can possibly afford it – it does everything the Mini will do, as you’d expect, but an awful lot more, too!
What is BeatBuddy?
BeatBuddy is the first drum machine in a guitar pedal format that enables full hands-free, creative control of the beat. A visual display of the beat makes it easy to improve rhythm or play with unfamiliar time signatures. MIDI Sync controls your loopers to make sure they’re in time with the beat.

What does BeatBuddy come with?
By using the MIDI sync, the BeatBuddy and the looper pedal can use the same tempo. It also has two 1/4″ outputs and a 1/8″ headphone jack, a Mini-B USB port, and an SD Card Slot. The power source is a 9V DC power supply, which is included.
How do I program my BeatBuddy?
To configure the BeatBuddy to your footswitch, press the Drum Set and Tempo knobs down at the same time to enter the Settings menu. Select ‘Footswitch Detector’ and follow instructions. The BeatBuddy will save your settings, so you only have to use the ‘Footswitch Detector’ if you use a different footswitch.
Does the boss me 80 have a drum machine?
