Is Yale open for classes?
We are cautiously optimistic that we will have a full residential program for our undergraduates if public health conditions permit. We expect graduate and professional school students to continue their studies in New Haven and faculty members to conduct classes primarily in person.

The Non-degree Students program offers nonresident students who are unable to attend college full time the opportunity to enroll in Yale College courses for credit. Like all Yale College students, students in this program are required to comply with the academic regulations.

Online lectures are recorded during a live session and uploaded to the Internet. MOOCs and other online courses are specifically designed for online learning, offering further features. Online interaction: Not available for video lectures, but MOOCs offer discussion forums for students and instructors.
Is EdX free of cost?
Except for professional education courses, there is no cost for taking edX courses when you enroll in the free audit track, which does not offer certificates or provide graded assignments. Courses that are part of MicroMasters programs may have a higher price.
