What happened to ePals?
The old ePals email accounts were discontinued in July 2015. If you were a prior user, you will be able to use your old ePals username and password to log into the the new Global Community platform (ex: use “johndoe” instead of “[email protected]”).
How much does ePals cost?
Successful candidates receive a Resuscitation Council (UK) EPALS Provider certificate, which is valid for 4 years. The course cost is £450 – this includes course manual, daytime catering, certificate & resuscitation Council UK fees (£28 for the course manual & £26 registration).
How do ePals work?
The e-pal pairs exchange emails throughout the semester and the college students then write a reflection on their experience. The grade earned on this reflection then replaces their lowest quiz grade, amounting to less than 3% of the total course grade.
