The NC School Report Cards provide parents and others who are interested in the public schools in North Carolina with information about school- and state-level data in a number of areas. These include student performance and academic growth, school and student characteristics, and many other details.
What is the school performance grade and how is it calculated?
School Performance Grade – calculated by weighting and combining two other scores: achievement and growth. Achievement counts 80 percent of the total grade. Growth counts 20 percent. Growth – EVAAS makes predictions about how much academic progress students should make in a year based on past achievement test scores.
