Digs on the north slope of the Cypress Hills have found stone and bone tools as well as butchered and charred bone scraps.

On bay front beaches, leashed dogs are allowed before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm. The person in control of the dog must have in his or her possession, an implement or device capable of removing any feces deposited by the animal. Leashed dogs are allowed before 10:00 am and after 4:30 pm on ocean front beaches.
