I wanted more of the record to happen in the studio and Bill wanted every last tack nailed down before we went in. I wanted to spend time with it, management and the record company wanted to rush it out the door.
Why is it called Faith No More?
Drummer Mike Bordin and bassist Billy Gould joined afterwards. Mike Morris described the name as “a piss-take on all the ‘elegant’ groups at the time”.
